With the Power Over Ethernet function, it can easily extend the wired connection distance through the Ethernet cable which avoid the long power line which might bring dangerous and incident. EPE-4818 is compliant with 802.3af PoE solution, it offers 48V/0.375A power supply with standard pin definition of Ethernet cable. Pin#1,2,3 and 6 with data transmission; pin # 4,5,7 and 8 with power enabled to device.
The EPE-4818 generates safe power over category 5 cabling. By sending 48V, Ethernet terminals such as wireless LAN access point, IP phone, and web camera are powered remotely. It is especially design for outdoor networking facility and low port density installations.
